As a growing brewtech company, we get many feature requests and one of those we have been hearing about is to enhance our customer management functions to be more of a customer relationship management platform.
Initially our customer management was very utilitarian by simply maintaining data about customers and provide context for orders. These are things all our customers needed and it works but as of our latest release, you now have the power to easily search for your customers, log notes on their accounts, view a history of all the activities you have with them, and directly contact your customers through our application. Let’s briefly dive into this some more:
First we made finding customers way easier by adding a search ability to the main customer list. You can simply find your customers by their name or you can find them through their contact details to better assist you.
Once you find your customer in the system, you probably want to keep track of important notes concerning the customer account. For instance, your sales rep can add notes about a possible tap line opening up so next time you can visit with a new seasonal selection. As another example, a distribution manager can note changes on an account like when a steady customer hasn’t ordered in awhile and might need some attention. And best yet, we keep track of everything so you can scroll back through the notes indefinitely.
Alongside each customer account lives a complete list of all activities they have processed (orders, assigned kegs, returned kegs, and even line cleanings). You can now view this entire activity list and can jump to any line item with a simple tap. It is all at your fingertips.
Lastly, sometimes you need to call or even get directions to the account. Instead of searching and scrolling through your phone for their address or phone number, we’ve made it super simple by adding these into our application. You can now open the customer record, tap the link and Google Maps is at your service! Need to call? Tap that phone number and you will be connected.
